NDP 07 and more ...

the upside of this month ... was mainly the NDP celebrations this year ... yeah! haha .. mainly cos i was there on the actual day itself and joined in .. and got a goodie bag ... hahah .. yeah =)

anyways let's move onto 'and more ...'

i've gotten a temp/unofficial replacement for my NS post ... hahah ... he's a condemned medic from stn 21 ... lolz ... personally, i'd rather not have him ... cos he's the slacker attitude/mentality kinda guy ... either way, i'm stuck with him ... at least he can do everything (almost) properly (almost too) ... still, one of the WOs wants me to handover the responsibilities to the official replacement (who will be coming in abt 3 weeks time ...) cos she doesn't trust my temp replacement .. :S ... oh wells ... anyways it's nice to have a replacement ... got more time to 'take a break' ... hahahaha =)

i overlooked ... seriously overlooked a very serious matter, which caused a serious problem, but thankfully, it was resolved by a very serious power =)

thats the short version, here's the long version ...

i got a letter of temp acceptance for a position from MOE/NIE ... and the briefing i was to attend if i wanted to accept it, was on the 10th aug. and i only noticed it on the 14th aug ...and the letter was only valid till the 10th aug ...

fortunately, after much prayer, and an email and a call, and more prayer, they replied and offered me another briefing date and clarified some issues, like when i would start working (02 jan 08) instead of the stated 10 sep 07, cos i would still be in NS ... yeah ... so after i managed to mess up so much ... God was still gracious and helped set things right ... THANK YOU GOD!!! =)
